PU ICET organizes on-campus recruitment drive


LAHORE: (Tuesday, April 29, 2025): Punjab University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (ICET) organized the first ever on-campus recruitment drive by Packages Group, a leading industry in Pakistan, known for its significant contributions to the packaging, consumer goods, and retail sectors. On this occasion, Director ICET Prof Dr Syed Nadir Hussain, faculty members, representatives from Packages Group, as many as 200 students from ICET, Institute of Energy and Environment and Institute of Chemistry were present. The Packages Group team was welcomed by Dr Ayyaz Muhammad, In charge of Career Counseling, Placement and Alumni Cell. Representatives from Packages Group delivered an engaging and comprehensive presentation that highlighted the company’s rich history, expansive business operations, culture of innovation, and dedication to sustainability. The presentation also introduced the students to the Packages Aspire Management Trainee Program. It also underscored the ICET’s efforts to provide its students with direct exposure to industrial recruitment processes, thereby enhancing their employability and career readiness. Dr Nadir expresses its profound gratitude to Packages Group for visiting the campus and for their invaluable contribution towards the career development of the students. He discussed the importance of fostering strong academia-industry Linkages. He emphasized on prospects of collaboration, industrial training opportunities, and career pathways for students of ICET and allied departments.
